Illinois Minority Real Estate Scholarship Program

IDFPR announces doubling of funding for minority scholarships

The Illinois Division of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) announced that the Division of Real Estate will double the funding for minority scholarships to expand access to the real estate profession. This will result in 60 scholarships awarded through a collaboration of the state agency with the Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation. Learn more.


Higher gas tax, texting rules in place, changes affect Illinois REALTORS®

Last Friday, Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed a $45 billion capital infrastructure plan. Illinois REALTORS® members should know that our long-term relationships built via grassroots advocacy and RPAC helped ensure that a last-minute proposal tripling the real estate transfer tax for "nonresidential property" was REMOVED.
