Add your voice to the 5,301 Illinois REALTORS® who have already answered our Call for Action urging state legislators to reject Rent Control in Illinois. On Wednesday, the House Judiciary Civil Law Committee is expected to consider House Bill 255 and House Bill 2192, bills that would repeal the existing ban on Rent Control and establish it throughout the state. More than 10 percent of Illinois REALTORS® have already taken action on this urgent issue. Can we count on you? 

 

Vote Today in Consolidated Election Primary

Get out the REALTOR® vote today in the Illinois Consolidated Election Primary. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Local elections will feature candidates for municipalities, townships, libraries, parks, school districts and other special-purpose districts. The Illinois Consolidated Election is April 2. 

 

NAR Reports Email Phishing Attempt 

REALTORS® who receive an email message with the subject line “**PLEASE READ** Important Updates & Changes to 2019 Member Roster,” should delete the fraudulent email and report it to the National Association of REALTORS® Member Support at ContactNAR@realtors.org. NAR offers a video and resources to protect yourself against scams.
