REALTORS® Spend Busy Week Visiting Congress; Also, NAR Board of Directors OK's Dues and Ethics Enforcement Changes
The protection of net neutrality and the renewal and reform of the National Flood Insurance Program were among several issues REALTORS® broached with members of Congress last week at the Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo in Washington, D.C. Also, the NAR Board of Directors approved an annual $30 dues increase, postponed a separate decision on an escalating dues hike and gave local associations the right to publicize the names and photos of repeat Code of Ethics violators.
We are effective in advancing policies and issues important to our profession and our communities because of the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC). You can do your part by investing in the RPAC. Remember to Vote for REALTOR® Party Candidates, Act by participating in Calls for Action and Invest in RPAC.
