REALTORS® Fight Against Rent Control Legislation in Springfield

Rent control would be bad for tenants, landlords and the community at large, said Local Governmental Affairs Director Brian Bernardoni (second from right) last week during testimony for the Illinois Senate Subcommittee on Special Issues. If rent control legislation passed, he said, the supply of rental properties would eventually be reduced and neither supporters nor opponents of the concept would be happy with the results.
