Miller Named Treasurer Nominee for Illinois REALTORS®
REALTOR® Sue Miller, managing broker of Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group in McHenry, was named the 2019 treasurer nominee for the state association Tuesday in Springfield. Her selection was made by Nominating Committee Chair Jim Kinney. Miller's appointment will be finalized by the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors in October. Find out more.

Springfield Monument Symbolizes REALTOR® Commitment to End Housing Discrimination
President Matt Difanis apologized on behalf of Illinois REALTORS® for any past role members played in promoting inequality at the dedication of the Fair Housing Monument in downtown Springfield Monday. He also pledged the association's commitment to end housing discrimination.
Commemorating 50-year Anniversary of Landmark Fair Housing Legislation
Today is the 50th anniversary of when President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Fair Housing Act on April 11, 1968. This historic legislation came a week after the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in Memphis.
